Hidea Debuts Advanced Outboards at Cannes Boat Festival, Forging European Partnerships
Cannes, France – 9-14th, Sep – Hidea, a leading Chinese outboard engine manufacturer and national "Little Giant" enterprise, made a striking impression at the 2025 Cannes Boat Festival (September 10-14), showcasing its latest eco-friendly outboard range and securing three key European partnership intents at the iconic Mediterranean event.
The 300,000-square-meter festival, drawing 65,000 global marine professionals, served as Hidea' s strategic platform to penetrate the European market.
At the Cannes Boat Festival—an event focused on the French market while catering to other regional markets—Hidea emphasized its strategic product layout. On one hand, the brand continues to strongly promote its core 2.5-130HP four-stroke outboard range. This series, certified by EU CE, has become a preferred choice for recreational boats and small commercial vessels in France and beyond, thanks to its low fuel consumption and high stability, further solidifying Hidea' s foothold in target markets.
On the other hand, Hidea officially unveiled its newly launched 150-200HP four-stroke outboard series at the show. Equipped with our best design, an intelligent digital speed control system, and a high-efficiency heat dissipation module, the new models deliver a maximum power of 200HP. They are suitable for mid-to-large recreational yachts and professional workboats, filling the gap in Hidea' s high-horsepower product lineup.
The exhibition not only reinforced Hidea' s position as a reliable provider of certified, efficient outboards but also laid groundwork for its next-phase growth. Moving forward, the brand will leverage insights from the show to accelerate regional certifications and refine its full 2.5-200HP product matrix, aligning closely with market demands.
